Greetings and Happy New Year! I am so excited to have finally started this blog – to write about the subjects I am passionate about: wine & food, art, history, travel and adventure. For me, they all intersect and evolve with wine as the delicious centerpiece. As a Sommelier, or Somm for short, I have learned all sorts of geeky things about wine, how it’s made, properly served, the many types of wines and producers – it’s fascinating subject. But this blog won’t be only about wine – there is another world of craft beer and craft spirits being made today that also must be explored. “Exploring the world, one glass at a time” is my motto, and in 2017 I plan to live up to my expectations… will you join me?
